Van Gogh's Oeuvre

The purpose of this infographic is to show quantitative information through the usage of typography, color, and composition. As I admire the work of Vincent van Gogh, I decided to analyze the number and type of artwork he created during each year of his career, from 1881 till his death in 1890. Included below each year is an excerpt from the sentimental letters he frequently exchanged with his brother, Theo.  The poster shown below is cropped to A1 size, yet the actual dimensions of this infographic are 27 x 184 cm.
